I’m really happy with the freedom we were given with this project! RenPy is a game engine that creates visual novels E.g. Doki Doki Literature Club, Steins Gate, and Higurashi. Having some experience with RenPy, I found my second project to be much easier since I already had an idea of the process. ​I would say the hardest part was coding the phone aspect since I had to program it from python. Although the most time consuming was drawing all the backgrounds and characters from scratch. My favorite part was designing the character and writing some of the dialogue. I wish I had more time to finish so I could create a title screen and customize more of the GUI. In the end it made me happy to share my project with others.
